Lords and Lady Kevin

During the pandemic lockdown of 2020 Kevin rutmanis (ex Cows, Melvins, Tomahawk and Hepa.Titus) and Gina Skwoz (artist Mow Skwoz) began writing, recording and manufacturing vinyls under the name Lord and Lady Kevin. They released 20 records, all lathe cut 10″ during this period. (David Livingstone genius engineer, producer and guitar player for the Godbullies joined them after 3 records, when they became LordS and Lady Kevin. David passed away 2 years ago, much to the world’s despair). The records were self released in very small runs, and sold out immediately.)

During this same period Kevin sent Trevor Dunn (Mr. Bungle, Tomahawk, Melvins lite, King Dunn) a phone recording of hideous bass racket and asked if he wanted to add anything to it. What Trevor sent back was a sound equal to delicious fresh cherries with ice and slices of banana. It was immediately obvious that the world thirsted for more of this sonic wonder. Dunn with Rutmanis released a lathe cut 10″ “Glen Krupa, world’s great drummer” which also sold out in seconds. A full lp followed on Rock is Hell records label entitled “Crack pot whore head” (The title is from an epic poem written in the 16th century by Francois Rabelais.)
